NEW AD: If Disaster Strikes, Where Will Zach Lahn Be?
DES MOINES, IA – The Rob Sand campaign is releasing a new ad titled “On Call,” outlining how Iowans can’t trust Zach Lahn to lead the state through a crisis when he doesn’t live in Iowa full-time. The ad is part of a six-figure statewide ad buy across platforms – TV, digital, and streaming.

“Over the years, Iowa has experienced some of the worst natural disasters – tornadoes, derechos, flooding. When disaster strikes, Iowans want a governor they can count on to show up and lead on a moment’s notice,” said Emma O’Brien, Rob Sand Deputy Campaign Manager. “Being governor is a full-time job, and Zach Lahn isn’t even a full-time Iowan. It’s disqualifying.”

Voiceover: “Public safety. Emergencies. Natural disasters.
A governor’s always on call. It’s a full-time job.
Zach Lahn wants it. But he’s not a full-time Iowan.
Lahn lives hundreds of miles away in Kansas.
And flight records reveal he flies in and out of Wichita on his private plane to campaign.
Lahn claims, if elected, he’ll be in Iowa as much as humanly possible.
So it’s impossible to know if he’d be here when Iowans need him.”
