Dave Muhlbauer Visits Iowa Cover Crop to Talk Farming and Water Quality

JEFFERSON, IA – Last week, nominee for lieutenant governor Dave Muhlbauer visited with farmers and seed dealers at Iowa Cover Crop to discuss their work in supporting farmers across Iowa and improving water quality in the state. As a fifth-generation family farmer that uses cover crops like rye in his operation, Dave spoke at length with the team at Iowa Cover Crop about the benefits of cover crops, the importance of partnering with farmers, and Rob Sand’s “Healthier Iowa for All,” which includes expanding and improving current conservation programs by offering tax credits for farmers.
