Rob Sand for Iowa

4/9/2026

DAVENPORT, IA – Yesterday, candidate for governor Rob Sand hosted a press conference in Davenport to discuss his new “Accountability for All” plan and why transparency, integrity, and accountability are essential at every level of Iowa government — from local offices to the State Capitol. During the press conference, Rob emphasized that it’s time for Iowa’s government to get back to basics: serving the public and tackling the real challenges facing Iowans.

Earlier this week, Rob also threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Quad Cities River Bandits home opener at Modern Woodmen Park, connecting with fans and taking part in Iowa’s great baseball tradition. Rob’s pitch came on the heels of the release of his “Accountability for All” plan, which will aim to strike out the broken political system that has left Iowa last in economic growth, first in new cancer growth, and in the middle of the field for education.
