Rob Sand for Iowa

10/19/2026

DES MOINES, IA – Last week, nominee for governor Rob Sand continued his statewide “Iowa for All” tour, making stops across western and central Iowa to hear directly from Iowans and share his vision for an Iowa that’s not redder or bluer, but better and truer.

On Wednesday, Rob toured a family-owned business in Carroll to discuss his “Opportunities for All” plan to cut red tape and streamline application processes so small businesses in Iowa have the tools they need to be successful. The next day, Rob hosted a “Solvin’ Iowa’s Problems” event in Sioux City, bringing Iowans together over coffee for an open conversation about the challenges facing their communities.

Afterwards, Rob visited local businesses in Sioux City, before heading to Dunlap for a “Shop Talk” with local farmers and community members about the challenges facing rural Iowa. Rob discussed his plans to support family farms, create new opportunities for farmers to earn a good living, and invest in conservation efforts that protect Iowa’s land and water. Rob ended his night on Iowa State University’s campus for an open forum with students, hearing directly from young Iowans and answering their questions about the future of our state.
