Rob Sand for Iowa Launches New “Hunting With Rob” Microsite Ahead of Iowa Deer Classic
DES MOINES, IA – Today, Team Sand is launching HuntingWithRob.com, a new microsite which highlights Rob’s background as an Iowa bowhunter, including key facts, photos, and interview appearances Rob has made discussing hunting. The announcement comes as hunters from across the state, including Rob, gather for the Iowa Deer Classic, Iowa’s premier three-day hunting convention celebrating the state’s whitetail deer tradition this weekend.

As part of the launch, the campaign is also rolling out “Hunters and Anglers for Rob,” inviting Iowa conservation and outdoor enthusiasts to back Rob’s campaign for governor.

Rob grew up in Decorah hunting, fishing, and enjoying Iowa’s great outdoors with his dad. Now, he’s passing those same traditions down to his two sons. Rob is a certified bowhunter and regularly takes part in the Des Moines Urban Bowhunting Program. This past fall, Rob donated 46 pounds of venison to the Iowa Food Bank through Iowa’s HUSH (Help Us Stop Hunger) program, which connects Iowa deer hunters with the Food Bank of Iowa, meat processors, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources.
