Rob Sand for Iowa

10/30/2026

DES MOINES, IA – Today, nominee for governor Rob Sand announced raising $4.8 million during the final fundraising period from October 15 through October 27, 2026. This latest fundraising haul follows Team Sand’s record-breaking momentum throughout 2025 and 2026 as it enters the final stretch of the election. The campaign is heading into Election Day with $1.3 million cash on hand.

During this reporting period, the campaign received more than 16,000 total contributions with an average individual contribution of $152. More than 95 percent of contributions were $100 or less, and the majority of contributors — nearly two-thirds — were Iowans.

“Iowans across the state and from all political stripes are fired up to elect Rob Sand and turn the page on the last decade of one-party rule that has left them behind,” said Deputy Campaign Manager Emma O’Brien. “In every community, Iowans are rallying behind Rob because they want a leader who will lower costs, strengthen our public schools, take on our cancer crisis, and make our state government accountable to the people it serves. As we head into the final stretch of this race, Team Sand is keeping our foot on the gas to elect a governor who will make Iowa not redder or bluer, but better and truer. Rob Sand is that leader, and he’s ready to deliver on day one.”

The campaign has been fueled by support from Democrats, Republicans, and independents across all 99 counties in Iowa. More than 3,300 registered Republicans and over 8,000 independents have donated to Rob’s campaign, demonstrating his record-breaking grassroots support across party lines. This campaign is powered by the hardworking Iowans who keep our state running: educators, health care workers, farmers, public safety workers, small business owners, electricians, mechanics, social workers, restaurant workers, pastors, truckers, students, and countless other Iowans who are ready for change after a decade of one-party rule.
