Rob Sand Visits Chichaqua Wildlife Area, Discusses Plans to Invest in Iowa’s Wetlands and Improve Water Quality

DES MOINES, IA – Earlier this week, nominee for governor Rob Sand visited the Chichaqua Wildlife Area near Maxwell to tour the conservation site and discuss his “Healthier Iowa for All” plan to clean up Iowa’s waterways, restore wetlands, and protect our natural resources. During the visit, Rob highlighted his commitment to making the largest investment in wetland restoration and expansion in Iowa history and investing in IWiLL. As an avid outdoorsman who grew up hunting and fishing, Rob wants to make sure future generations, including his own two boys, have the same opportunities to enjoy Iowa’s great outdoors.
